The funeral of Jesse G. Dus-
enbury, Carrying Place, was
held from the Weaver Funera.

United Church, Trenton.

Place cemetery, with Vernon

thur Hewton and Oliver Frost

Well known throughout me
Carrying Place district where
'he ooerated the J. G. Dusen-
bury ~ Real Estate Agency for
many years, Mr. Dusenbury
died Friday in Trenton Memor-
ial Hospital following a two
months' illness. He was 70.
Born at Castleton, Ont., he
was the son of the late Mr. and
irlMrs. Samuel Dusenbury, and
L had lived at Carrying Place for
th the past 60 years. He was a
member of the United Church
at Carrving Place and was a
former member of the Knights
of Pythias and of the IOOF in
I Trenton. At one time he was
manager of United Cigar Stores
at Toronto, Hamilton and Win-
nipeg. I
He is survived by his wire,'
(the former Harriett Bennett; by
ia daughter, Mrs. O. M. (Mar-
tha) Gilmaster of Toronto, and
by Arley Tompkins of Picton.
Two other children, Francis Ir-
win and Clarence Tompkins,
predeceased him.

Gordon Dusenbury of Brighton;
grandchildren Joy and Robert
Gilmaster, and great grand-
children Linda and Eric Gilmas-
ter, all of Toronto.
ol stopping planes
coming to bomb defenceless
Cuba?" he asked.
As he spoke, Cuban aiuAforce
planes criss - crossed the skies
But the only violence reported in
the capital during his speech
was the throwing of a small
bomb at the building of the pro
government newspaper Revolu-
cion. A passer-by was wounded
slightly.
Castro called his followers to
his support after Matos and 30
of his officers in Camaguey re
signed from the revolutionary
army last week, mystery planes
simultaneously bombarded Ha-
vana with anti - Castro leaflets
and terrorist gangs roared
through the capital in cars,
throwing bombs and grenades.
The threat to revive the mili-
tary tribunals underscored the
gravity of the crisis facing
Castro. He himself had abolished
them July 12 and halted the ex-
ecutions after at least 555 Cubans
by unofficial tabulation had died.
Since then the maximum penalty
imposed by civil courts for ac-
tivities against the government
has been 30 years in prison.
